The Take Down is for the everyday feminist who is tired of being mansplained, can’t deal with fragile masculinity anymore, and wants to be heard. When opening the box, the walls of the box fall from the pressure fit lid to represent the walls of the patriarchy falling. Bold and unapologetic, this box does not have the typical pink and girly empowerment look. Graphically adorned with feminist paraphernalia spanning multiple decades and feminist movements, this piece contains satirical supplies to take down the patriarch like bandaids, earplugs and an airhorn. It also includes materials for self care (because it is hard being a woman living with the patriarch).
