activating two spaces in the midst of transition

During the reintroduction of the street grid on the University City High School site and the adaptive re-use of the United Bank, LoLa38 worked with local artists to celebrate the living history of the neighborhoods surrounding Lower Lancaster avenue as a new future is paved for this multi-layered landscape.

Through installations, conversations and gatherings LoLa38 highlighted the richness of the neighborhood and the diverse communities that call it home.  LoLa38 honors Lower Lancaster as a gateway to arts and culture, with dynamic programs which are inclusive of the community’s traditions and interest in shaping the future.

To show the fun and bright nature of the LoLa38 project, the report featured vibrant colors and bold shapes to convey the positive energy that came from all the programming LoLa38 did for the community.
